"I really appreciate everyone's overwhelming support so far. We've had a ton of people sign up to canvass and we'd love a ton more. The donations so far have been incredible and appreciated but we're going to need more so please consider contributing.

We've put together a great team and I'm really excited to get started with this petition and knock the campaign out of the park. See you out there!

If you are a signature collector: Starting today, EA will begin mailing out canvasser badges and provide us with custom signature and cover sheets. We will then make these forms available on our team website for you to download and print. To sign up, or check your status, please go here: team.waternotcoal.ca

If you want to sign: Check back here later this week (or early next). As soon as our signature collectors have badges, we'll have them start creating events on our website so you know where you can go to sign in person! We'll also email to remind you too.

Our Petition runs from February 10, 2026 to June 10, 2026 — please sign in person early!

Elections Alberta needs to Issue our Petition. Once they have done that, they will begin mailing out canvasser badges and we can begin collecting signatures.

We expect this to be complete by February 10th at the latest.

In the next week, we will be emailing all of our supporters with next steps, including how to formally sign up to collect signatures, how to donate, and where and when you can sign in person.

Elections Alberta has Issued and Published our application and it is now Approved.
